The REC has been operating since 2008, and in May 2019 it was renamed as the Research and Education Center. The REC is responsible for training and advanced training of specialists in sections of the program «Educational Support of Modern Technologies of Geophysical Well Surveys at Mineral Deposits».
Field of study:
• permit to work at oil and gas fields - permit to geophysical well survey (GIS) operations
• permit to operate equipment, borehole geophysical survey operators
• technologies (for borehole geophysical survey drilling support)
• hoist operators of logging stations (LS)
• slingers of lifting equipment, etc
Scientific fields (sections) of the educational program:
- geosteering technologies with downhole electromagnetic telemetry systems of ZIS and ZTS series;
- technologies of core sampling, secondary drilling, technologies of core sampling, secondary drilling, formation testing with wireline and hydrodynamic logging equipment;
- seismic testing technologies;
- technologies of radioactive methods of well log survey;
- technologies of electromagnetic flaw detection methods (with equipment of the EMDS, MID, etc. series);
- hardware and methodological complexes of well log survey;
- technologies of acoustic methods of well log survey;
- operating hoisting equipment during well log survey;
- logging stations; electrical lifting mechanisms from the ground;
- industrial safety (A1 + B2) during well log survey;
- well control with possible gas, oil and water inflow during well log survey;
- operation of radioactive sources during well log survey;
- fire and technical minimum during well log survey;
- labor safety during well log survey, incl. when working at height;
- electrical safety during well log survey;
- operation of heating networks and heat-consuming installations;
- making duplicates of lost documents.
The license is issued indefinitely (reg. No 2796 dated April 20, 2012)
All programs are approved by state regulatory authorities.
The scope of the training is necessarily agreed with the customer.
